ALLTAGSKOSTÜME

Join our Sewing Workshop!
Are you between 12 and 18 years old and interested in exploring clothing, fashion, and hands-on, creative work with textiles? Then this workshop is for you!
During the workshop, we’ll experiment with our own designs and learn how to turn a drawing into a pattern and, ultimately, a wearable garment. From the initial idea and 2D design to bringing it to life on a sewing machine, we’ll explore every step of the creative process.
Through hands-on work with new and recycled materials, we’ll explore topics such as material properties, sustainability, and fast fashion. Exercises in observing clothing and its impact in urban spaces, as well as an excursion to stellwerk – junges theater, will offer additional perspectives on clothing and the way it affects how we are perceived.
Together, we want to encourage creative self-expression and develop an awareness of our own creative potential.
Participation is free, and food and refreshments will be provided.
