Lernraum.Bauhaus

Lernraum.Bauhaus investigates the ways in which hybrid learning spaces can be designed and used at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in the future. Over the last few months, a room on the university campus known as the Hybrid Learning Studio has been converted and furnished for this purpose. In contrast to the typical teaching formula of video, this studio takes iinspiration from a theatre stage or film set that enables a flexible variety of scenes and settings. Since a large part of the degree programmes at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar are design-based, the Hybrid Learning Studio also focuses on examining objects and how they can be represented in hybrid settings. With an aim to incorporate these findings into future hybrid formats, ten individual projects in the research format Learning with Objects are being funded to investigate the requirements of certain spatial scenarios and how objects can be integrated in hybrid learning environments.

Project by Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, funded by the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre from 2021 to 2024.
