eTeach Netzwerk Thüringen Annual Conference 2023 - Zwischen Bibo und Bot: Studierende im Blick.

Annual Conference

15th - 16th November 2023

University of Applied Sciences Erfurt

Is a bot already sitting on your office chair? Does AI think for you? Is prompting your new language?

These are provocative questions, but they do point to the fact that the developments in digital university teaching are rapid and associated with both challenges and potential. At our annual eTeach conference on 15th and 16th November 2023 at the Erfurt University of Applied Sciences, we want to discuss this with you. Under the title "Zwischen Bibo und Bot: Studierende im Blick", we will combine interactive and experimental elements of trial and error as well as poster presentations on the day of the fair with impulse and panel presentations on the day of the conference. The opening talk and keynote speeches will provide thematic highlights and the musical closing event will emphasise the artistic side of digital developments.

15th November 2023: The trade fair day for trying out and exchanging ideas

Topic Island 2: Is it Worth it? Possibilities of Virtual Gathering Platforms Within Academic Teaching and Learning Settings with Sophie Foster (Bauhaus University Weimar) +++ Potential of immersive teaching/learning environments and virtual reality in the educational landscape with Susanne Karsten (Erfurt University of Applied Sciences) and Gunther Kreuzberger (Ilmenau University of Technology).

Moderation: Svea Benett (eTeach specialist centre for media technology)

How can you take part? Both days of the event are hybrid: You can attend in person and on site in Erfurt or join in via video stream or a conference platform and contribute to the discussions. All details about online participation, the individual programme items and all contributors can be found at We look forward to exchanging ideas with you!
